According to reports, his body was discovered hanging in his room on Monday night in his village in Umuohii, Oboama community in the Imo State local government area of Ezinihitte Mbaise.
According to reports, he killed himself after helping his peers with the day’s heavy labor in the community.
According to an anonymous source who spoke with our correspondent on Tuesday morning, the deceased, who majored in architecture in school, didn’t exhibit any depressive symptoms.
“The young man, Nerus, is from Umuohii Village in Oboama Ezinihitte Mbaise Imo State,” the source stated. He committed suicide last night, Monday.
No one is aware of the motivation behind his behavior.
“From the Federal Polytechnic in Nekede, he received his architecture degree. He was in excellent health up until this morning (Monday) and took part in the local youth hard labor.
Later on that same Monday night, his body was discovered hanging in his bedroom.
It was revealed by another source that the deceased left no suicide note.
According to the report, Nerus Chinaechenwa Elemamba, the late Mr. Cajethan Elemamba’s second son, hanged himself in his own room yesterday evening and was discovered dead.
“Nerus appeared to be in excellent health prior to the regrettable event, and he took part in the youth manual labor work yesterday morning, Monday.”
Iheukwumere Ibeh, the village youth leader, told our correspondent that the residents were taken aback by the news in a Tuesday morning interview.
He disclosed that the victim was being buried following the satisfactory completion of the required cultural rites.
This is shocking, said the young leader. No one is aware of his motivation. He didn’t abandon a message. He didn’t have a spouse. He is in his thirties or early forties. He wasn’t brought to a funeral parlor. As we speak, he is being laid to rest. This comes after performing the necessary cultural rites to placate the land.
Henry Okoye, the state police spokesperson, stated that he had not yet received a briefing on the incident when called.
